See it unfold as we share our stories and experiences from abroad
Melur officially starts school tomorrow. School at University Hill Elementary however, is only for about 2 hours. For the rest of the day, Melur will be hanging out at Kinderclub, which is a sort of day care for kindergarten children going to U-Hill Elementary. Today, Kinderclub is open (one day before U-Hill), and so Melur heads to school for the first time.
It was raining this morning on the way to school. It’s now Daddy’s ritual to send Melur to school on the way to work. Since it was raining, we walked to school. It took about 25 minutes. I think Melur was quite excited to go to school for the first time. I know I was. According to Mommy, Melur got up several times last night, cause she was anxious to get to school. And she had no trouble getting up this morning at 7 am.
I dropped her off at about 8:15 am, and that was how Melur started school for the first time.
Ready for Kinderclub
